That Snickers commercial...

Has anyone seen that kick ass Snickers commercial about Barky the Dog? The commercial's punch line is: "Grumpiness. Another sign of hunger"

It's quite possibly the most amusing commercial I have seen on recently.

If anyone knows where I can get it, I would love that very much.

Please let me know.

Does anyone know when the water show starts?

Oh god I love that commercial! I worked at a restaurant for the last 2.5 years (doing random things.. making orders, cleaning, baking, stocking, mostly being a cashier though) and I often wanted to be rude to customers like that commercial! Haha!

Oh yeah! That commercial rocks! I loved the old one they had with the football player getting hit as I remember and running around saying "I'm Batman!"

Eh? Barky the dog?

Care to enlighten those of us who have not seen it as to what happens?

A Man in a Dog Costume is at a fair/carnival
A family with matching clothes come up to him (right next to the dog is a sign that says Next Watershow: Noon) and asks when the watershow is. Dog replies, sarcastically, "Does anyone know when the next watershow is? They should put a sign up that says when the next watershow is"

Next scene: Are you really a dog (something to that effect), He replies to the little boy "No, I am a grown man who has made a lot of mistakes."

Pretty funny

I think it's one of those "had to of been there" moments. And I wasn't there.

In the commercial, there is a man dressed up in a mascot suit made to look like a cartoon dog (this is Barky).

In the first scene, this man is approched by a family all wearing the same hat (typical Disneyland type stuff). The father asks, "Hey Barky, Do you know when the next water show is?"
The dog, standing next to a sign that says "Next watershow: noon" replies, "Someone should put a sign up that says when the next watershow is. DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHEN THE WATERSHOW IS?"

In the next portion, a man is taking a picture of his kid with Barky. However, the man keeps telling the kid what to do (i.e. look this way, move closer, etc). So Barky states, simply, "Take the picture. WHILE WE'RE YOUNG." The man says, "Honey, step away from Barky (with a panicked look on his face)."

In the final scene, a small child walks up to the man dressed as Barky and says, very sweetly, "Are you really Barky?" The man in the suit says, "Barky's a cartoon. I'm a grown man that's made a lot of mistakes."

Then we get from a booming anouncer, "Grumpiness: Another sign of hunger."

and you're laughing.

Its a great commercial.

Barky the Dog reminds me a lot of Norm McDonald (SNL fame). His voice is slightly similar I think, and his reply is venomous sarcasm.

It's one of those commercials that's so well done and funny that it's only shown, like, once a month.

Very funny commercial.

Never seen it if its on in the states sure to come over to Britain or turn up on one of those commercial programmes.

the guy who does the voiceovers at the end is the guy from The State and Reno 911, Thomas Lennon. Probably one of the most underrated funniest people ever.

I love that commercial! I worked in an amusement park for years, and we always had to answer questions just like that.

It ain't just customers! I've seen too many co-workers and managers who need to be treated like that more often.

I endorse all of my paychecks "For Deposit Only" and the account number. At my bank, there is one teller who cannot understand that my endorsement means that I want my check deposited into my account, nevermind that it SPECIFICALLY STATES THAT ON THE FUCKING ENDORSEMENT! I'm going off on her today if I'm stuck with the dumb bitch when I go to deposit my check.
