"Rubber"
So, there's a movie called Rubber that's apparently coming out. Here's the trailer:

At first, I thought: Holy fuck, Will, are you out of your vulcanized mind?! I mean, it sounds dumb. So of course I had to click the link. The release date is April 1. I think it's a joke maybe. ... Then I saw the trailer. It looks fucking awesome. |
Wondering what you guys thought of it, if you've seen it yet. It's on PPV (through cable anyway) and we saw the preview last night. Of course, while I was at work, my daughters found it online and watched it. They thought it was a riot. Although it seems original and absurdist, I'm curious, but not necessarily curious enough to sit through it.

The introduction to the movie was nothing short of comedic brilliance, imho. Parts of the movie drag a bit, and some of it is so out there that you feel uncomfortable laughing at it, but all-in-all it's a funny and surprisingly original movie. I think it'd make for a decent rental, particularly if you're using a controlled substance.
