Please, please, please! Bring back the $2 bill. Two dollar coins, the worst idea ever.

I rarely use cash, and when I do I hate having it in my wallet. I like the wallet to be as slim as possible. When I carry cash with my I just fold it in half and put it a random pocket on its own.
I like the idea of plastic money. Anyone who has ever washed their pants with money in it would probably like seeing the plastic money as well. Ever since I first saw the Aussie money some 8 years ago I have always thought it was far superior to ours. I am not sure if I am a fan of money being different sizes, and hope that ours remains all the same size. The color changes are also a great idea, any country that chooses to have only one color for each denomination of money has issues... As far as coins go, I never use them. When I do spend cash I only use bills and then when I get home I throw all my change into jars. When the jars begin to fill up I roll it and bring it to the bank. It always adds up to $200-$500 each time I roll it and it feels like free money! Whats not to love? I don't ever roll the pennies, I leave those in jars. I have a 2L plastic juice container that is full to the brim and have since started filling a new one. |

I have to say though, I am unsure of how printing plastic money would be different from cotton. I don't know if it would cost more or less per production capita. Quote:
I very much like the trademarked dollar bill. Lets keep that. |

IF the cost of production is the same or lower, it will save a lot of money. |
