Please, please, please! Bring back the $2 bill. Two dollar coins, the worst idea ever.

I rarely use cash, and when I do I hate having it in my wallet. I like the wallet to be as slim as possible. When I carry cash with my I just fold it in half and put it a random pocket on its own.

I like the idea of plastic money. Anyone who has ever washed their pants with money in it would probably like seeing the plastic money as well. Ever since I first saw the Aussie money some 8 years ago I have always thought it was far superior to ours.

I am not sure if I am a fan of money being different sizes, and hope that ours remains all the same size. The color changes are also a great idea, any country that chooses to have only one color for each denomination of money has issues...

As far as coins go, I never use them. When I do spend cash I only use bills and then when I get home I throw all my change into jars. When the jars begin to fill up I roll it and bring it to the bank. It always adds up to $200-$500 each time I roll it and it feels like free money! Whats not to love?

I don't ever roll the pennies, I leave those in jars. I have a 2L plastic juice container that is full to the brim and have since started filling a new one.

not unless like smeth said - they lobby a politician. then they're back in business

True, but better value for money has gone as far as it can get with cotton. I daresay they have no argument except a reluctance to change. More security features would be a hassle and even more expensive than it already is now. Printing money costs unreasonable amounts of money.

I have to say though, I am unsure of how printing plastic money would be different from cotton. I don't know if it would cost more or less per production capita.

I would also prefer it if money was the same size, but the change is in size is a security measure.

I very much like the trademarked dollar bill. Lets keep that.

I don't know how the production costs break down but the important point is that the lifespan of the individual bill is increased lessing the need to produce as many bills.

IF the cost of production is the same or lower, it will save a lot of money.
