Nice drawing, petite. I really like the hard outlines that define the shapes. And that hand looks pretty good, too.
Well, unfortunately, I've been too sick recently to come up with anything new, so I'll just post one of my old nudie pics. Hopefully I'll still have a chance to get something new in before the end of the week.

Nice one El Pollo- who is the lovely lady?

Here is another one of mine, based on a photo of a woman in a very old anatomy book (the privates were blurred out):

She would be one of the models for one of my art classes in Houston a couple years ago. Here's another one of her below. It's really not as naughty as it looks. She just happen to lay her hand down in her crotch area for the pose and we all just started drawing. It wasn't till everybody stepped back and started looking at their own drawings that they realized it looked like she was pleasuring herself. Oh well...

Here is my drawing a female nude, or what's left of it. This one isn't finished yet. There's some much needed work around the neck/head. There's also too much space so I need to fill that in somehow.

Looks nice, though. But instead of filling up the empty space, why not just crop the image tighter?

Why do artists always seem to prefer the female form to the male one? :|

I have male drawings from life drawing class, but they don't come out as good as the female ones.

Nancy, because the female form is more beautiful and has softer lines than the male body.

The last time I remember a male figure in our figure drawing class, our instructor was giving a demonstration on blocking out the figure. The man was a thin, older gentleman and stood sideways during the demonstration. Our instructor, this mild-mannered woman in her mid 30s, was talking while drawing on an easel and having us watch.

First she drew a line at the top of the page, delineating the top of his head.
Then she drew a line on the bottom, delineating the bottom of his feet.
Then she drew a line on the right, where his back and buttocks were lined up.
She was starting to draw a line on the left and said, "OH MY!"

Let's just say the line was...moving.

No Pollo. Let is be for us all instead. Surely the men are able to enjoy the naked male form as well?

Who's to say that the female form is more beautiful than the male one? I've heard the argument about the women's soft, round lines before but I don't buy it. It's society that dictates what form that is to be prefered. Today the focus is unquestionably on the women but around 190-340 BC the male form was worshipped and praised instead.

Hey, it's just my opinion. I think a woman's body is definitely more "beautiful" than a man's. Not to say that a man's body doesn't have it's own good qualities.
