I always wanted a robot/semi-robot cat. This is probably the closest I'll come. These are in the early working stages. Any criticism is welcome.

Sorry these came out so large. I'm new to photoshop and not too sure as to how I resize uploaded pics.

Cool stuff.

Image --> Image size...

Set it for 72 DPI and then make it whatever size you want. All these internet web browser thingees treat al images as 72DPI. So if you have a jpg that is 6"x6", but you saved it at 150DPI, it's going to turn out about 12"x12" on the TFP.

Most of my 'net cartoons are 72DPI and 420 pixels X 420 pixels (heh! 420)

Well someone has to be the smart ass and edit youer statement. Well here it goes it isent the browsers but youer computer screen that runs with 72 dpi so when you have a picture that will always be show on a screen then make it 72 dpi...

That is sweet! I love the high level of detail in everything. Is that done in colored pencil?

Giant Hamburger 08-04-2005 06:16 AM

Hail Citizen!

I love this stuff. I demand more!
It looks like colored pencil.
Go ahead, explain your excellent self.

No need to apologise to me. I can really appreciate the details at this size.

Excellent work, both of them.

Hey, thanks for the advice Clav and Diz, now I can sleep at nights. Yeah, this is just colored pencil on paper. Its the only way I can get in detail. Does anyone know any other way to get high levels of detail like pencil but with colors that pop a little more?

clavus 08-04-2005 04:45 PM

You could use paint (a skill I lack). Or ink...with a paintbrush.

There is nothing wrong with "just colored pencil." Check it out - - ->

Fab cat. Bloody odd rabbits though.... :D

cinnles 08-07-2005 07:36 AM

that's great.

I have a friend that wanted me to design a shoulder/sleeve tattoo with some sort of bio-mech theme (which I fell short of actually thinking of something), got any ideas? :)

gnort 08-08-2005 08:58 PM

That's awesome! It looks like something straight out of a deranged anatomy text book.

Gary_the_Rat 09-05-2005 06:31 PM

Wow thats some detailed stuff. Looks like something from the end of Akima.

zVp 09-06-2005 05:13 AM

Lasereth 09-06-2005 05:56 PM

Wow, that's amazing. I wish I could draw and color that well. Keep up the good work and show more as you complete it!
