Nancy Vs. Dizzet
 

Dizzet and I agreed to have a little drawing competition amongst ourselves. The objective is to outsmart one another. For example: If I post a drawing of a spider then Dizzet has to find a way to beat my spider from doing something like hiding under a bed. So he could draw a shoe - a shoe would kill the spider. Then I could outsmart him by drawing a scissor which could destroy the shoe.

And thus we continue until we 1. run out of space - then the last person who drew something wins or 2. one of us can't figure out a way to "beat" the previous drawing

We've decided that the time limit is 4 days to post a new drawing. If one of us exceed the limit we lose.

undistract? I think you mean distract. Well a magpie likes to steal golden/shiny metal objects so he'd take it all from Robin :)

What if the magpie is secretly a comrade of Robin Hood's? The magpie collects all the gold, leaving Robin free to deal with Jeff. Later, at an undisclosed Waffle House, the magpie and Robin meet to exchange the gold for... um.... I dunno.... some blueberry syrup.

Well that would do it then. But I doubt that the magpie could carry all of that.

Uhm no. In reality my tornado would be able to swipe them all out but each drawing is only meant to bet the previous one - not all of them

But If the tornade sweeps them all I win because then the bee will be killed as well....

Did not Nancy say that this Magpie was an INSPECTOR GADGET MAGPIE!?!?

If so, it would easily be able to carry the gold, as it would have super extendo-wings, or massive jetpacks, or a spring foot, or something of that sort...


I would think that you would want to destroy the Magpie........ and hope that The master Inspector doesn't find out...

not really. If I had drawn an atomic bomb for example then yes my poor bee would've died as well since the range of the bomb is several km's. But a tornado doesn't randomly whipe out everything - it only destroys the things that are on it's path :)

Well here's an idea then: Draw a path to everything except the bee!

First of all the trajectory of the crane would be as indicated with the little spots meaning that it would only hit the gnome in the head. It'll only hit him because the drawing is in 3D which means that there are multiple layers. Something at the background (layer 6) could indeed hit something in the foreground (layer 1) but then the trajectory would have to point in that direction and not like my crane which is a vertical trajectory. See? :)

Great response dizzet, but it looks like you're being forced onto the defensive. You need to get some killer blows in quick.

That bee is home free!! The old Anvil trick got Dizzet runnin'! Coulda been a grand piano I guess, but he would probably have got the guy from New Yankee Workshop to whittle it down to a spice rack or something.

Ooh Ooh! If Nancy had drawn a 10 ton weight instead of an anvil, I would have drawn a bottle of correction fluid and changed it to 10 ounces.

yup we scan every time. When you'll join us you're gonna have to scan and manipulate your picture into the drawing each time to make it work I guess

Oh Knickers! No scanner! I guess i could do Illustrator pastes? I'm a bit better at that than sketching.

You guys will have to come up with a system for next time.... I'd be pissed if I worked on an addition for a half hour to come and find out that someone else came along and already added something.

Perhaps keep it to two people, but start a few more threads... two people could challenge each other and start their own thread.

Way ahead of you - Dizzet and I already have some rules for round 2 if we're gonna make it an open battle. But your suggestion about individual battles between 2 people is rather good! I guess we'll have to ask what people prefer :)
