Piece on migration - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

Hey guys. This is a piece about migration that I've done for a 'contempory art practices' class which started its life as an arcylic painting, but is now covered in ink + dyed white and teracotta clay slip, which is a lot like yoghurt to work with. The whole thing is covered in layers of writing which is quite hard to see in this picture, the actual thing is about a meter and a half wide.

It's beautiful! I love when a painting containts so many details that I can still discover new things after watching it for hours

I love when a painting containts so many details that I can still discover new things after watching it for hours __________________ I have all the characteristics of a human being: blood, flesh, skin, hair; but not a single, clear, identifiable emotion, except for greed and disgust. Something horrible is happening inside of me and I don't know why. My nightly bloodlust has overflown into my days. I feel lethal, on the verge of frenzy. I think my mask of sanity is about to slip.
