Some paintings

Here's some of the best paintings I've done throughout my life. I'm missing one in my series of 8 X 8 black and white watercolors, but I'll get it on here in a few weeks.

This watercolor is 11" X 23". Yeah, I know it's a weird size. It's a match of a page from the children's book 'Goodnight Gorilla'.

This watercolor is a little pixelated, I blame the camera. It's 8" X 8".

This is also watercolor, pixelated, and an 8" X 8".

This is an acryllic. 24" X 12". Props if you can figure where it's from.

They are in MySpace - there may be a problem with the linking to a log-in req'd website. I got nothin' in Firefox, and rexes in IE which yielded info for tracking the work.
Sorry, Faba, is that last one the eyes of King Kong? I really don't know my classics very well.

I'm trying to fig'gur out how to get around the rexes... Probably just link them through photobucket.

The eyes are from the lord of the rings, when Saruman first gets pissy at Gandalf and his eyes go wide. I added the ring highlights for dramatic effect.

EDIT: I just figured it out. I did it in the way I just said.

Those are very good pieces of work. I must say I think this is the first time I've seen a black and white watercolor. It's interesting.

I love the depths and shadows. I have a lot of trouble doing that in my paintings.

Thanks for sharing those.

I LOVE that first one. I don't know how many times I read "Goodnight Gorilla" to my son - it was his favorite book when he was younger.

I used to read it to one of my charges all the time...he loved it. It's still one of my personal favorites to read--and Faba, you did the artwork of the book justice.

I'd like to see some more of your interpretations of LOTR moments--Saruman's eyes are incredible.

Well played, well played. They are, in fact, Warhammer 40k marines.
