				New painting!
I've done a couple before that are resting happily over the fireplace, and another set of sweet ones for a friend's nursery, but I'm really happy with this one. There's no title in the works and I'm not sure it needs a name. I had something very symmetrical painted on this canvas and I hated it, and today everything finally clicked and she appeared. I had to fingerpaint to get the curves right, nothing else seemed to work. IMG_0704edit.jpg Comments and criticism always welcome. (It really does end right there... I didn't cut her legs off. )

| Soaring Location: Ohio! | I like this a lot. I actually finger-painted a good portion of the first painting I shared on TFP; I find it preferable to brushes a lot of the time. I really like the tones you used. Nice job.

| Psycho Location: hiding behind wings | Thanks! I had forgotten how much I like fingerpainting. I'm thinking of painting a picture of two of our cats by "petting" them onto the canvas-- fine details don't appeal to me, and getting right into the painting appeals to my kinesthetic side.
