I can't believe nobody has commented on what an excellent painting this is.

This is an excellent painting! It LOOKS like a really good guy smiling. If somebody painted a me like you painted your friend, I would be flattered beyond words.

Hi Clavus. Many thanks for your kind words. It was funny last night, when we surprised Adam with it. He found it quite weird to be looking at a twice size image of himself!

I like it. The painting looks exactly like you described him, which in itself says boatloads about your talent.
