Do you have your own webspace?

Use the
Code:

tag around the URL of an image.

Ie:
{IMG}http://yahoo.com/photos/big_ugly_duck.jpg{/IMG}
with the {} replaced with []

SmileyG3 04-16-2004 01:12 PM

I don't think so?

Unless you can host your own pictures, I don't believe you can include a visible image in a post.

go to www.imagestation.com

you open an account, and you can upload images to their server.

Then, go to your storage bin
click the pic to make it larger
right click the pic
go to properties
highlight the actual address of the pic--i.e. (http://www.imagestation.com/somebull...llshithere.etc)
copy that link to the forum using [img]&[/img]

I hope this helps!

You can't attach an image from your computer except for in a few places in TFP.

As far as posting an image that's somewhere on the internet, you need only put the URL of the image...

ht tp://w ww.website.com/pic.jpg

inside [*IMG] [*/IMG] tags... (without the *stars*)

so it'd look like this...

[*IMG]ht tp://w ww/website.com/pic.jpg[*/IMG] and without the spaces in the URL.

I mean when there's a pic on yer personal cpu.
I know when the pic is on the internet it's fine.

The only prob when posting a pic on the internet is when the pic is a clickable link. i.e. stileproject. When u click on a pic it goes to another, then another, etc.

It's not possible to add those as images

tkkfan, this is incorrect. Any image that doesn't do "reffered by" filtering (or the like) can be linked. Even if you can't click on it. It is just not as trivial as you are used to.

ok, here's how you do it

i have a pic hosted on my personal website called BenColleen.jpg

it's URL is http://people.tamu.edu/~bdh3252/BenColleen.jpg

using image tags namely :[img] and [/*img] without the asteriks in the second one, placed on either side of that URL, you get the pic:

http://people.tamu.edu/~bdh3252/BenColleen.jpg
