I was using the search engine Dogpile.com to look for artist forums, and TFP made the list. I took a brief look and thought that actually, this forum looks varied and robust and involved and hey, let's be a joiner not a lurker. So here I am.

I wasn't pointed toward this site, as much as badgered, harangued and threatened to take a look at the goings on here. I have to say, I am pleasantly surprised and happy to be here.

I actually heard about TFP from Menoman. He's an online acquaintence of mine, and has been actually for quite some time.

He attempted posting a link to me in AIM that's here on TFP, and since I wasn't a member at the time, I asked him what TFP was. He called me a noob, it was good times.

Then I registered and all was well.

I acutally heard about this website through one of my good buddies (virtuaspy) when i lived in houston. And now finally after a year of viewing at my buddies house, i decided to join that Gainesville finally got dsl.

I found the pre-4.0 version of tfp a couple of years ago doing a yahoo search for something . . . may have been pagan related. I browsed around for a bit and was intrigued. I made a mental note to come back and check it out later but got busy with work and school stuff (mental notes are not the most reliable creatures sometimes!). Searching for porn, I stumbled in here. Turns out the boobies part of this forum is now the one I'm least interested in.

Elwood Blues showed me it over my apartment one day. After he left I went on and checked it out. I thought it was intellegent and not like other forums I was in. It took me awhile to get used to it. I'm hooked! :D

Heard a couple of mates discussing it- one's intelligent, the other's a T&A man. So I came for the tits and stayed for the intelligence. Much of my social life occurs around work in a religious-based organisation, whose dogma I find stifles real discussion. For now, I'm just going to surf around looking for interesting stuff and get involved if I 've something to say. If access to the TB arrives as a consequence, then that's my good luck I guess.
