I suppose it's a slow news day when this is what gets reported, but it some bizarre way, it's interesting...

What's in your pockets?

/me is pocketless today...

My iPod is in my shirt pocket.

My money clip is in my right pants pocket with $98, DL, CC, insurance card, a few business cards, etc.

My cell phone is sitting next to me on my desk, but when I get up I slip it in my other pants pocket. :)

Cellphone and keys (with remote access token) in left knee pocket.
Wallet in right knee pocket.

And occasionally scraps of paper with important reminders, IP addresses, or code fragments in whatever pocket I happen to put them in first. Not very exciting.

I am not currently wearing pants, so no pockets for me!

I only carry little paper reminders in my pockets, and junk, and have a bag to carry everything else. I never carry my mobile in my pocket as I don't think it's good to have it against my nether regions all day!

lighter for my bad habits, ipod, keys (including extras as i'm catsitting), wallet with cash and cards, cellphone, and lint.

My Zippo lighter, pocketknife, 4 one dollar bills, 2 quarters, 4 dimes, 2 nickels and 3 pennies.
left front pocket:
nothing. Well...unless you want to count some lint.

keys, pen, note pad, cigarettes, gas receipt from when I fueled up this morning, tube of Carmex, and a business card from a supplier that I had lunch with yesterday.

If i'm at work, i also have two pens at all times- one cheap one in the left pocket for handing customers to sign things, and one good one in the right pocket for my own use. People steal pens like crazy.

Some of you guys must make a lot of noise when you walk around. :D

I always carry: cell phone, keys, driver's license, and debit card. I'm not much for purses...so most things go in my pockets. This is why I buy men's pants a lot--women's pants either don't have pockets, or the pockets are too small. Boo.

Front right pocket - Lighter, debit card, id, and school i.d.

back right pocket - huge set of keys

back left pocket - Smokes

and I usually keep my cell phone in my jacket pocket or in my bookbag.

Right now the only thing in my pocket is a bunch of quarters for the laundry.

I never carry my keys in my pocket because I'm a bit OCD and if I can't feel them in my hand, I'm certain I've lost them. So my keys are always in my hand whenever I go out. Also, having your keys in your hand allows for some ninja moves if anyone ever tries to rob me.

left pocket: handkerchief
right pocket: clean handkerchief (for cleaning my glasses) and my wallet.
If I'm wearing a suit i'll have my phone in one inside pocket and my wallet in the other.

Let's see...
Pants get a wallet, key ring, handkerchief, and a micro leatherman.
Shirt gets a pack of smokes and a lighter, and sometimes a pen.
Coat gets another lighter, a full sized leatherman, a hairbrush, and sometimes a cigar.

When I read that article before I saw this thread, I thought to myself that any man who walks around without a pen is a man who doesn't do any work.

That said: my contents (right front pants pocket) my keys, two pens, and a wallet.

I cant stand to use shirt pockets and the only thing I ever keep in my coat pockets are my gloves

Currently, I'm pocketless. However, when I do have pockets, I rarely carry anything in them but lint and perhaps a movie ticket stub. I carry too much to use pockets; I'm a purse kinda girl.

Key's, Cable TV splitters (HSD installer), and a tin of Ice breakers.

nothing - I work from home so there is no requirement to carry anything here.

Nothing, my pockets aren't big enough to fit anything in there. But if I were able to fit anything, it'd be my keys, drivers license, and debit card.

:lol: How can you fit it all? I never put anything in my pockets - ever! If I do happen to slip something in, it comes right back out. I just can't stand the bulky feeling.

Well, I'm a guy. I purchase pants that have pockets loose enough to fit my stuff. For you, as a girl, you are dressing to show your "stuff", and we appreciate that. :D

And the knife is very thin.

I am at work and I currently have just my cell phone in my pocket.

Front Left Pocket: (When not at my Desk) Ipaq, Zippo, Cigs
Right Front Pocket: DL, Debit Card, Cash (if I have any), Insurance Card, Receipts from said Debit Card
5th Pocket (inside Front Right Pocket): Cell phone (tiny lil PM/LG-325)
Back Pockets: Nothing.

Keys are on my desk at work or at home. If Im not at those 2 places, they are either clipped to a belt loop or in my left pocket.

shirt pocket: 1 pilot flexgrip ballpoint pen (fine point blue) & one proximity pass card for work access

Front right pants: one $20 bill, one $20 receipt for the TTC, one subway token

Front left pants: one pair reading glasses

Back right pants: one Sandisk USB key (this bad boy has 1 gig)

Well, since I teach first grade I have various things in my pocket from day to day.
This week I have had:
plastic rings, tissues, a rock, candy, pennies, a dollor bill, a quarter, an index card, spiderman, bandaid wrappers, a crayon, a pencil, a marble, dice, a jack, and other strange items that the children hand me. :crazy:

For my 'things'...
an El ticket, a lighter, and of course my hand.

Currently nothing, as I empty everything into my desk drawer when I sit down. Cant stand the shit falling out of my pockets. If you were to bump into me and ask, wallet in front right, with credit card, drivers license, etc (no money by the way... Damn being a broke college student). Left front pocket: keys, lighter, cell phone pocket knife. Back pockets, random notes and papers I deem necesary at the time.

I try not to put things in my pockets cuz I forget they are there and then it ends up in the wash!

I wonder how many people have a car key like that with the plastic bit gone. My brother has a car key that looks remarkably similar. Commodore?

Front right: keys and coins. Coins include three new Kansas quarters (I like the buffalo) and a Costa Rican 50-colon coin worth maybe 15 cents.

Front left: ID wallet including driver's license, all other ID, and debit/credit cards.

Rear right: Old wallet for currency and receipts.

I like this arrangement because it keeps the wallet flat enough that I can sit on it comfortably for hours. And if somebody ever robs me, I'll give him my wallet and folding cash, but the ID will stay with me unless he's smart enough to figure it out. The ID wallet is really small and doesn't bulge out the pocket.

Count me in with the few that work from home and so carry nothing. I have my wallet in my right rear pocket because it just goes into whatever pair of pants I'm wearing tomorrow so I don't lose it. A standard loadout for me when going on a job:

Front right - Car/house keys
Front left - nothing.
Rear right - wallet
Rear left - maybe a list of some sort, or directions
Jacket sleeve pockets - two pens
Jacket breast pocket - notepad, change
Jacket inner pocket - gum

I generally am going to public buildings of one sort or another, often with metal detectors, so both my Leatherman tools stay home.

Money clip - $70-90, credit card, Drivers Licence.
