Talk about small towns.

2 yrs ago when we went to messico to visit our relatives we also went to my aunts 50th wedding aniversory. While there my cousin and I found a group of cute girls to talk to. We ended up getting very close with them, dancing and shit. Well they left to go get ready for our lil walk when this old man comes up to us. He is like "What are you boys doing!? Those girls are your cousins!!"

My family comes from an area of Washington that used to have a very small, very rural population...so it's no wonder two generations back there are double-cousins.

Just be thankful that old man stopped you. I shudder at the alternative.

Were these girls at the party? I think that would have given away the fact that maybe you were related :hmm: Anyway, I was at a family reunion once in WV, the only one I ever went to in fact. I was hit on by a cousin and he tried to make a pass. I was disgusted. Oh well, guess you can't choose your relatives

Thing is that there were a lot of my aunts friends there and there were a lot of relatives there that we didnt know we had.

Meh after that lil shocker we ended up going back to the party and left home. I remember that we were both sad and laughing at the same time. We didn't score but we were going to score with cousin. That was a wild night.

---as a senior, I was really putting some serious moves on this chick, and I found out what turned her thermostat up----then my mom has to ask "who are you seeing now" Nancy I say..."oh yea, she is a relly nice girl...and she's your 2nd cousin.

still made out for a while, but it just wasn't the same...:D

I've got an extremely large family, and have definitely had the experience of thinking some girl was cute, only to find out she was some cousin I'd never met.

I even know two that married. They were eighth cousins, so they didn't really share anything but a last name, but its still an interesting story.

Had a first cousin who was a few years older than me and frankly, hotter than you could possibly imagine. Think copper-blond bronze-skinned Brazilian-style centerfold material, but very together and mature. As a teenager I made something of an idiot of myself around her a time or two -- but she did flirt with me. As I got older, she flirted with me more and more, and wanted more face time with me at family gatherings (she's been single most of her life). I'm not sure where this would have gone eventually -- we grew up apart, and frankly she didn't really feel like a relative -- but I got married and put aside the idea. I'm pushing 50 now, and the the last time I saw her she _still_ flirted with me. But by now, I think it's just a hobby :-).
