Riverfest Zinzinnati Style
 

If you are from the Cincy are you are familiar with the last summer blast that is called Riverfest. Along the banks of the Ohio River over Labor Day weekend there is a traditional festival called Riverfest that ends with a 35 to 40 minute fireworks display choreographed to music. It's quite the spectacle and usually attacts about 500,000 people.

A real duck got lost among 78,000 rubber duckies who appeared as part of the 11th Annual Rubber Duck Regatta. The race benefited the Free Store Food Bank and was just part of the Riverfest fun.

To sponsor a duck cost $5 ... that's a lot of bucks for ducks!

They do fabulous fireworks water fall off of the bridges but there are no shots of that...bummer. :-) Are there events like this in your hood?

I love the rubber ducky thing and what a nice cause..

Yeah, it kinda sucks that I missed it. I'll have to make up for it by going to some Bengals games (dad has season tickets) and Oktoberfest.
