Help Please with flowers
 

I need some help bad... I have to get some lilacs by valentines day, does any one know where I can get some? I have heard Holland has them in bloom right now, but I can't find a way to get them. Any help would be much appericated. Thanks all

Start calling local florists... In my town there is a couple florists where if you give them a week or two (they prefer more heads up), they will have what you need, and they love it if you have something specific in mind, and will usually work with you to make a great arrangement.

Remember, just about anything can be grown at any location with the proper care, and a greenhouse.

As Kurty suggests, talk to your local florist... they can get anything with a bit of advance notice... IMO everyone should find a good local florist and add it to their list of things like: a good local butcher, fish monger, bakery, etc.

Thank guys, and I have been trying this. A guy in california said he could get some, but he doesnt ship to utah. The local florsits say anything from its impossible, to kep calling around. Anyother ideas?

It's not the same as real lilacs... (and I love lilacs) but what about silk lilacs with a bottle of lilac fragrance?

(and use Mikey Chalupa's line about loving them til these flowers die :)

Are you in SLC? If so, you're telling me that The Flower Patch on State Street and 5th South can't help you? That's the first time I've ever heard of that happening. Those guys have come through for me a bunch (ha ha) of times.

Yes. I am in Slat lake. the flower patch said it was impossible. Thanks for all your help everyone, I am going to try some of these sites here, and if anyone else has nay ideas....I called a florist in California, she said, sure I can get some, when do you want to pick them up? I said I live in SLC, she said she doesnt ship.... Hmmmm
