What's your hair style??? (on your head!)
 

So lately there's been a lot of "what's your hairstyle" discussion. All of these discussions have been about pubic hair, back hair, body hair, facial hair, but no discussion about the hair on your head!!!

So what's your current cut/style??? Have you had the same style for a long time or is it something new??? A hairstyle usually reflects who you are... what kind of reactions do you get from the public? Family? Friends? Significant others?

Me: until about two years ago, I had my hair cut every 45 days... always the same thing... 3/4" clippers around the sides and back and a little longer on top (maybe 3 to 4" long). Dark blonde hair with light blonde highlights. I've been growing it for the last two years... still dark blonde and I still put sharp highlights into it every few months. It's a little past my shoulders now. It's identical to Scott Stapp's do (from Creed) (example do 5k)

The longer hair seems to fit my image more. Maybe it's changed my personality, but I seem to be able to attract more beautiful women and I personally like the way it looks more! :)

Shaved... as close to my scalp as possible.

Had it that way for a while then started growing it back out. I can't get used to having the hair again. I'm going to start shaving it off again.

I try to keep it as short as possible.

I have the white man's afro look going. I am going to shave it bald pretty soon though.

It's mostly just a mess at the moment, can't remember exactly how I get it cut, I just say something like "make it shorter!"

i got long hair. not quite to my waiste.. i cut about four inches off six or so weeks ago. brunette with major natural red highlights. i am starting to think it may go completely red.

then not only am the only kid not born in MS (dad was working in AF in MA), not only the only perm disabled person, i'll be the only redhead, too! wee!

i feel so much more unique now.

oh yeah back to hair. i normally have it in two ponytails (kwsn and others, thats why my hair looked short), othertimes i let it loose when i can tolerate it giving me a weird lionish look... kind of.. not big hair, but thickthick. othertimes i put it up in a samurai or gene simmons style.

im a metal person. i got metal hair. kind of sebastion bach style with ZERO hair spray.

if i ever start loosing hair, which is possible though my dad has a full head, i will shave it all.

Hair varies from #2 to #4 all over, depending on how long its been since i last cut it.
That is all over except some little tufts at the nape of my neck that I can't shave, and refuse to let anyone else shave off.

Used to have a short beard too, for the past 2 years, until I shaved it all off to raise money for Comic Relief.

No 'tash ever tho, I tried for about a week, but constantly being able to taste what I last had to drink annoyed me.

Not much more work to it than combing your hair every morning.
And it's nice not to pay for haircuts or have a "bad hair" day.;)

Red pony tail two foot+ full beard. Red with a little grey.

My hair is down to my ass, or belt line at least...its brown, I grow it to fuck with the man...everyone is suspicious of guys with long hair....it's funny when I talk to those people like anyone else...they kind of get that "oh he's not that bad" look....It would be nice when people don't judge you by the way you look. I'll grow it till it falls out of my head...no way in hell am I letting some goon come near me with a pair of lopping shears.

#2 on the sides, top and back go down to the bottom of my shoulder blades. Moustache & Soulpatch currently, sometimes a goatee depending on mood.

Shoulder length, slicked back into a pony tail in what I call my new age CEO look.

2 on top and 1 on the sides/back. I started doing this at school to avoid paying for haircuts. My AFROTC friend had a pair of clippers so I just let him go at it one day and kinda liked it.

I might go for a 3 on top next time but keep it at a 1 on the sides/top. But I dunno.

depends on when you catch me. About once every 2 and a half months, i'll get my hair cut to a 1 inch-on-top fade with the bangs spiked up. At the end of the cycle, i just let my hair do what it wants.

Down to my waist (natural waistline, not where I wear my jeans at :P)

I've got naturally curly hair though, so when it's wet it's longer. The feeling of it brushing against my lower back still trips me out. For the longest time, it wouldn't grow past my shoulder blades, so long long hair is a new experience for me, and I plan on growing it down to the top of my ass. My hair is thick enough that it'll still look really nice at that length, not some straggly wisps.

I haven't had it cut shorter than shoulder length in probably 5 years, and I won't ever again, I hate looking like a poodle :P I get a serious afro kicking if there's no weight to pull the curls down, they're bad enough as it is now.

My hair is quite short. Difficult to do anything with right now.

And, excuse me for saying so, but I kind of pictured sixate as a mullet type-of-guy.

My wife calls it the "state trooper" haircut. The guy who cuts our hair knows what I want when I ask for that.

As a former rock and roller who had long, red, graceful locks, it's a switch.

hairSTYLE?! That's why baseball caps were invented! I've got enough of them to keep what's left of my hair covered for a month without repeating.

Buzz cut to just barely bristley. I noticed that since I started cutting it this way I can part it on either side and it looks good.

I keep mine short, but not to the point of being shaved or buzzed. Plus, I get it cut every two weeks without fail. Long hair and men don't go together.

I have no hair on my head. Smooth as a baby's backside.

My head was shaved for some time but now I've been growing my hari back, mainly because I'm too lazy to shave it :) A bit hair looks nice for a change though.

The sides are cut with a guard 1, the top is just a tad longer. Sort of looks like a military cut.

Short, very short

Well, for 15 years I had long hair, until last May I finally chopped it off due to numerous reasons. I found it looked much better as the hair loss I had suffered up to that point made it rather straggly looking. For the next year I just wore it as what I would consider the basic men's haircut, parted on the left. Just a couple weeks ago my stylist suggested a new 'do, which one of my friends called the "caeser", combing it all forward. Still undecided on it so far, response has been mixed, currently 9 to 5 in favor of the new look. :)

Brown...gets lighter in the summer ....It is already starting to have a reddish tint to it. I'd like to grow it back to my butt.
I used to have really short hair dyed and spikey, but I grew out of it so to speak. ;)

short as possible, but I'm too lazy to keep it bald... so its somewhere between bald and growing back. I had no idea how many of us there were.

#3 on the sides and up around the top a bit. the top of my melon is razor cut (for texture) to about an inch long. i usually throw a little Redken rewind or water wax in it and give it the purposefully disshevled look.

My friends call it the boof..

I keep it short on the top, always do a #2 on the sides... sometimes it grows out a bit in the back and gets to be kind of a pseudo-mullet.

mohawk that fans out, its not in spikes, its got a weebit of every color in it.

I get mine cut once every 6-8 months as badly needed. I don't style my hair. I wash it, brush it, run the towel over it to unbrush it, then just let it dry however it sits.

Me, I have the devil may care, tossed to the wind, cleans up good enough to pass, wash and wear hair cut. On the longer side

I used to have a number one on sides and short messy spike on top but my girlfriend said she liked my hair long so I stopped cutting it and its kinda shaggy I can get a nice fro going after I shower and dry it off but now it looks like Eric Forman from "That 70's Show" but I think she wants it more like Michael Kelso, so I'm still working on it.

about down to my tits now. i'm quite proud of how much i've grown it out - it used to be really long but i hacked it off to above my shoulders for a few years. now i miss it.

My was really shaggy for a while, maybe like fab four style. Then I got it cut because the whole time I was growing it out was for a mullet bet.
It was great to actually walk into Mastercuts and ask for mullet. It didn't last very long though. I had it fixed for Mother's Day as an easy gift cuz she hated it.
But yeah going for shaggy again just gotta wait 3 months.

Well, not all of them. There's more than one that've shown more interest in me now that I look more "normal". :D

i have very fine hair, so if i grow it out i start looking more and more like cher... so I've kept it short since sophomore year of high school... it's like rabbit fur i kid you not, the ladies seem to dig it when they get close enough to rub my head.

I usually get a rounded off block-head cut... makes me look like I'm some tough guy from the army or something. lol. But really, my hair won't look decent in any other cut, so I just go with that.

stopped paying attention to it. my hair just about reaches my cleavage now and i should probably go get it trimmed soon so i don't get any crazy split ends...
its bleached a little bit on the ends from when i used to dye it jello colors.

I have the self titled "Lego Cut". Imagine a lego persons hair.....that is how mine is. I usually cut it all one size, #3. And let it grow back a bit and cut it again. But its been a couple of months now only cause I'm lazy.
p.s. some people also refer to it as Mushroom Cut or a Beatles Cut.

Shaved with a 1 guard to about 2" above the ear with the top parted down the middle.

Wow, that description sucks. Sounds like i might have a mullet.

#3 around the back and sides, then just trim up the top and part it on the right. I find that if I use a little sculpting mud I can get the bangs to stand up, making me look like your stereotypical frat guy. (at least I think so)

I used to have long Tangly hair down to my shoulders, I just cut it last week and Bleached it Blonde.

Now when I wear the Short Top Hat that I wear almost everywhere, I vauguly resemble Harpo Marx.

#2 all over. I like it. Yes, the standard crew cut, worn by kids in the summer and convicts year 'round.

Flat top, skin tight on the sides, so my beret sticks to my damn head in this heat.

My hair is pretty shaggy. It does not however, cover my eyes.

1/8", what is that, #2 or #1?
I used to wear it to about the small of my back (thick dark curls) but in the end it was about half-way dead so I cut it to about 2".
Then I tried the 1/8" thing and I was hooked instantly. Just the feel of the water on your skull when yer in the shower :)
I haven't gotten off it since- never again messing around with gels and waxes and stuff.
Also I consider it an honest haircut- just the face and no extra deco. Nothing to hide behind.

I jsut got my hair highlighted in chunks its really kewl blond and brown and its kinda touching the shoulders and cut in 3 lengths all around. flips out really good though

#1 (1/8"). Last year it was past my shoulders but I got tired of the maintenance.

last couple years have been sporting the above mentioned "new age ceo" look... felt like doing something drastic about a month back.. was getting up the nerve to go through with it, then returned home one morning to see my younger brother of a year had done what i was going to do (razor, 1 or 2, not entirely sure). so thats what i did, that very morning. comments from girls up quite a bit :p

i dunno, i almost prefer the longer look, kind of gave some amount of individuality in todays college boy crewcut scene, but whos to argue with the girls :)

Shaved as close as possible. It gets hotter than hell in the kitchen I work at, and I prefer not carrying a sweaty mop on my head for 9 hours a day.

My hair is down past my shoulders...its curly so I have it layered to keep it controlled. I usually wear it half up, or braided. I use to have it really really short. I like it both ways :D

#3 on the sides, 1.5 inches on top. put on a bit of gel or styling paste(like gel but doesn't harden) and just mess it up with my hands till it looks right

Normally a caesar style short cropped cut. But like now, when it has been about a month since my last cut, it turns into an Elvis-Like pompadour.

I'm talking 4 inches high HUGE.

Bald is the only way to go for me :) shave it with a mach III razor every 3 days or so. I just wish there was an easy (inexpensive) way to make it all go away! :)

Do hats count? I have my hair cut really short but I wear hats most of the day so I guess you could say my hairstyle is multicolored and Kangol.
