Meh, if the world were perfect, people wouldn't have to do tihngs like this. If you look at it in a realistic way though, even charities have to pay the bills somehow. It takes money to make money... even if you give that money away.
If you are going to overpay to get designer clothing, it would be nice to know that that money is doing sometihng more than making a few people very wealthy. Sure they are using their charitability to sell clothing (overpriced clothing at that) but if for some reason you felt the need to indulge in desifner fasions wouldn't you want to know that at least some of your money is going to good cause? They try to tie their name with a good cause. It's no different than Coca-Cola saying "Proud sponsor of the 2004 summer olympic games" in their advertisments. Buy from us. We do good things for you. I don't see a problem with it really. |
