Ever eat the worm? part II
 

Several nights back a group of us were talking about Mescal and the worm. It was decided that a trip to the liquor store was the only solution to end the arguing. After finishing the bottle, three men argued who was gonna eat the worm(also arguing about who was tougher). With all their whinning and such, this petite little angel of a gal snatches the worm off the table, says "pussies" and down the hatch. She was the hero for the night in my book.

I have eaten several, really not that big of deal.

Me too. When I was down in Nicaragua you could actually order a shot with a worm in it.

because it's the best part... :) and you can't just "swallow" it whole... you gotta bite into it to release all those magical juices :) mmmm....


one can even by Dos Gusanos which means it has TWO worms :)

ive eaten a mealworm... one of the ones i feed to my geckos...*shrug* was a little drunk... and someone dared me to... and yah it was still alive...

Quality tequilla doesn't have a worm in it.

Mezcal is tequilla that is not made in the region of Tequilla, Mexico and usually has a worm to give lesser quality mezcal a novelty to it distracting from the mezcal flavor.

we dried our mescal worm out for two days then cut it up and rolled it in our doobie.......different ,but no big deal really.

I have eaten the worm, but even better, during my fraternity days, we had a Hawaiin luai-ow (sp?). I ate 32 live goldfish, as was part of the dumb barbaric activities of the day. MMMMMM....swimmy.
