Choose or Lose

register now to Rock the Vote in Nov. 04

Today at the office I registered to work. Scratch that, I didn't register, I changed my address from my Long Island address to my current Manhattan digs.

This was sponsored by the Choose or Lose group here at MTV.

If you haven't registered to vote, I do implore you to register so that you can participate in the November Presidential elections.

I'm not saying this for any party affiliiations as I don't care about any professional politicians. I'm saying this because it's our duty to participate in the democratic process.

From one of my all time favorite authors:

"Uh, sir, why not go - well, go the limit? Require everyone to serve and let everyone vote?"

"Young man, can you restore my eyesight?"

"Sir? Why, no, sir!"

"You would find it much easier than to instill moral vitue - social responsibility - into a person who doesn't have it, doesn't want it, and resents having the burden thrust upon him..."

if you look at the link I provided you'll see that most states only allow registration by mail not online.

I know Arizona lets you register online. Best bet would be to check the Secretary of State's of your area's website for any links. That's where I found the page for Az.

I heard the movie was a disaster. Once I saw the trailers, I was afraid to watch the movie.

The book, however, is one of my all time favorite books.
