Guess you've noticed that the board has a problem. It's slow and parts are missing. It sucks!!! I challenge each and every one of you to make it better. I'll start! Take off your avatar and all of the sig lines and let's free up a lot of what is slowing it down. Pay some money!!! Don't get carried away - we don't want what his face having enough excess cash to spend time in the South of France or whereever but it does cost money to run this thing. I'll take off my avatar and sig; Y'all do the same thing and it'll get better - you can always put them back when it's fixed.

Took my avatar down right after the server was moved... not a problem there.

it cant hurt ive moved from an active role to a much more passive role so ill do what i can to help.

Took the avatar down, haven't had a sig in forever, also disabled viewing avatars, signatures and images. Hopefully by February or March I'll be in a position to donate, but 'til then even five bucks is more than I can spare.

Turned off the sig, never had an Avatar. Money is on it's way. Can't let the line to the outside world go down. I did notice that thing's were moving kind of slow but something is better than nothing. We will survive.

Wow.....nice to see such a positive response from everyone to a great idea by Liquor Dealer.

I have to say, I don't miss the avatars. It is not that I thought they were bad....and no, I never earned one....I just don't really miss them. That being said, I appreciate those who turned them off doing so for the community's benefit. Nice to see the proactive steps people are taking. I hope it helps.

Yeah, I'm sort of the same way. Not with everybody, but with some. I usually try to put a name with the avatar too, though, since a lot of people change them regularly. I'm getting by okay so far.
