Which theme do you use?
Well?
|
Personally I use Sandstorm. IMHO it's the easiest to read, however, I find it hard to identify new posts in the forums by the small size of the icons. But it's the easiest on the eyes.
|
Assuming everyone votes.. this is how it will end up:
Code:
mysql> SELECT S.title, COUNT(*) |

Next time you're watching a movie, I'm gonna call your house and tell you how it ends 5 minutes after it starts beotch!! That takes the fun outta the thread now. Hump,....guess I'll have to think of something else to poll. |
Do you really wanna call me 'beotch'?
|
lol...
i think hal could make you his beotch faster than you could run... but its an interesting idea... anybody working on any new themes? and how would one go about doing that? cause man, im bored... |
I always liked the dark blue of version 3.0
and the whiter arial font. but that's just me. |
ogre, every single person who has offered to help with themes has flaked on me.. i'm not gonna rely on others to do it any more.. so the answer is.. when I get around to it
|
Dark Cloud for me. I'd like to see more options. Don't they have premade ones that easily found and uploaded?
|
i wasnt offering, just wondering how... if that makes sense...
is it just making pictures for each and ever little "button"? im guessin so... |
i just stuck with the default for version 4. i mean, why go and change a good thing?

If it was, you would have noticed the comical joking nature of my post. I'm a perpetual smart-ass who enjoys a battle of wits and likes to goof off. As long as the parties involve can play like adults and not take it to heart. Back on topic now. I've never hacked around in vBulletin, but have done my share of programming on some phpBB2 boards, Ikon, and Infusion. I'm sure there are some "pre-made" themes out there that could simply be modded a bit with icons, logos, etc. to work. But this thread was in no way meant to pose as a venue for petitioning new themes. |
Playing like adults generally means no frivolous comments such as 'beotch' so.. are you sure you wanna call me that?
|
I wasn't incenuating you weren't "playing like adults" if that's what you assumed, or was how you took it. If I was indeed attempting to insult you in a demeaning nature, I would have used the word "bitch" instead of the comical "beotch".
You're the Admin, but if you have any further issues with me or my postings unrelated the topic of themes, might I suggest it be taken to PM's for the sake of the public members? |
You're being made an example of.
If we are indeed all adults here, then I'd expect polite discussion, not words like "beotch" being thrown around on whim. That's my point that I am trying to make. Plus, you gotta realize who you're saying it to. You don't know me, I don't know your humor. Think before you hit submit. |
*awkward silence from TFP members*
So...uh...how about them Dolphins? Anyway, I am of the elite few who use Sandstorm. Elite means better than the rest of you. (kidding, kidding) |
In defense of Coucher, he did have a smiles littered through that post, and one right after "the word in question". (not that has anything to do with what you said last, but I can make observations that have nothing to do with anything, right?)
Anyways, Dark Cloud here, I love my drab, dull colors. |
...holy crap, there are different themes! *switches*
|
I only used Dark Cloud on v3, but I really like look of the TFP v4.0, so I stick with that.
|
theres a few posts in suggestions, one that i did, that has links to vbulletin add ons. found some places with nice looking themes, i dunno how easy it is to implement them but whatever
|
I'm thinking that I might be crazy here, but I used Dark Cloud for a while, and it seems to me that using the TFP 4.0 scheme makes the site load faster. Again, I could just be hallucinating, but that's what it seems like to me.
|
It took me about a month before I realized there was a choice in themes (so much to do/see here that I missed it). I like Dark Cloud. It's easy on my eyes, except when Ashton types in red--then I really have to squint & even then I guess at most of what he's saying.
|
Dark Cloud fits my personality better than the dreadful Sandstorm. All those awful bright colors... Patootie!

Sums up the reason I left the IRC channel. |

whatever the default theme is.
|
Well, that wasn't as fun as it should have been.
|
Default Theme
|
What's it take to create a new theme?
I wonder if i still have a copy of vBulletin at home... |

I used Dark Cloud on TFP v.3 but the Dark Cloud on v.4 just doesn't seem the same - the colors look more washed out to me, and the default on v.4 is sooooooooooo much better than it was on v.3 that I'm willing to stick with it. :)
|
I'm on TFP v4.0 because its the only theme I've ever known.
|
Sorry Hal, I got YaBB not vBulletin...
|
HEY---I think HALX peeked....
|
omg.
iīm one of the 373 people using the old dark cloud. i didnīt know i was in such a vast minority. i just love how easy it is on my eyes. i loved it in v3, and i still donīt find default v4 more appealing. |
I use the default 4.0. I'll have to check out the other ones though, I didn't even know there were other options. ;)

i prefer darkcloud. dark colors have always appealed to me more then fluffy teals or bland colors.
:p |
Boy, now I feel idiotic. I voted for Dark Cloud, but I really use TFP v4.0.
It's not like we're being graded or anything, but still, whoosh!, right over my head. :p |
