What type of cell phone do you have?
I'm looking to upgrade right now. What cell phone do you all have, or what one would you like to have?
well, i'll be of absolutely no help here. mine is an old motorola/sprint one that was considered "small" when i got it several yrs back... now it looks like a sherman tank next to the new ones.
i can't justify buying a new one tho when this one still functions & i rarely use it. |
My phone is a 2 year old Sprint flip phone. I haven't even looked at new phones in a long time. This one still functions perfectly and I don't need any new features or gadgets.
Looks like this: http://www.wirelessgamingreview.com/...nt/TP52002.jpg |
I'm the only guy left in the world without one...
just your standard issue nokia from cingular
Same here, standar Nokia that came free w/ the plan. It shuts off on its own all the time, so I wouldn't recommend it.
Work-issued Nextel i60
I have a Motorola T722I. I like it and it works well. btw, I use T-Mobile.
Motorola t720
http://commerce.motorola.com/consume...ducts/t720.jpg |
I don't own one...I don't want to field phone calls all day when I am out doing other things. If the call is important enough, they'll call my home number and leave a message.
And my job doesn't require me to have one. |
Nokia 6310i. Really holds its charge well
Nice phone Bermuda. Some super deals out there now. I like to get a camera, play games and net access. Finding alot that are free. Time to upgrade. Thanks
check out amazon rather than the phones through the company... They can add up to some fat rebates.

Samsung flip phone from Verizon. It's pretty nice and has lots of features available for download, but the downside is that you have to pay for all of them. It has a strong signal almost everywhere (I used to have Sprint and absolutely hated it) and I'm pretty happy with it.
Nokia 3350
iŽve got this one...Nokia 7650
http://www.dallas-and.com/telef/nokia/nokia-7650.jpg its a little bulky, and its not waterproof (as i found out)... but i like. there are many better versions of the camera phone out there now, so this ones out-dated, but iŽll definitely get another nokia after this. |
Kyocera 2325
http://www.kyocera-wireless.com/imag..._main_left.jpg great reliable phone. games include: tetris, space invaders, break out :D the service is verizon |
Don't have one, thinking about getting an N-Gage though, more for the gaming, but hey, a phone is useful to me in some situations...

Samsung s105 with T-mobile. For the most part I really like it. There are a couple of minor things that bug me like the way they did some of the menu stuff with the calendar but nothing major. 3 of my friends got them after playing with mine a little and they are all happy.
I have a fairly new Nokia, works pretty decently. I've never heard anyone complain about that brand, so it seems like a good choice. I'm no expert on cell phones though, so get second opinions. :)
I have an Alcatal.. its old tho
My company gave me one and I kept it for two whole weeks......then I gave the irritating thing back.:D and refused to use it.
I hate those damn things, but I do get a good laugh when I see a couple in a car and both of them are talking on cell phones instead of eachother:lol: |

and i haven't had any problems with it |
Motorola V-60. Good phone. I'm a fan of the flip-phones. I feel like I can hear and be heard better than non flip phones.
LG-520.
Audiovox 8300
I got the new LG VX6000. It is the best phone i have ever used. It even has a cool 640x480 digital camera built in!
ericsson t65, its pretty rare.
Kyocera 2255, the freebie that came with the plan.
same as bermuda... it works fine for me so far... and it wasn't ridiculously expensive either.
Motorola V66 and a Nokia 5100 series
Just bought a Nokia 6610, very nice phone albeit a little fragile if you drop it. Three freinds have dropped their's and cracked the lcd screen. Nice featured phone with all the bells and whistles, no bluetooth though.
LG 5350
Nice phone, good features, but the extended life battery lasts all of two days. After selling phones for both Sprint and Verizon, I have to say: Do not get Sprint Do not get Sprint Do not get sprint Got it? |
Panasonic Duramax
Big Bulky & Virtually indestructible Definitely needed by a big klutz like me. Hangs off my jeans or belt, very obvious My company pays for everything, I can call from anywhere in North America. I'm on call 24/7 Even on vacations. |
Nokia 6340i
I honestly do not know. My mom got it for me and I only use it to play games while waiting for my classes to start... I think it might be AT&T or something. I don't even know where it is at this moment now that I think about it... My mom has the exact model and when she tries to talk to me with it I cannot hear a thing so don't get any cell phone service from AT&T.
Nokia 3210.. with sunflower covers.
I got an Nokia 6310i - its a nice phone :)
I hate those pop phones. ie. SE t68i, actually, i think all SE phone designs is to pop to me... N6310i is an buisness phone - just as i like it ;) |
Nokia 7250
nokia 3310
http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B0...1.LZZZZZZZ.jpg Works pretty good and really like direct connect.
the kind that is always set to vibrate so that I don't unknowingly annoy someone, and the kind that has a good mic so I don't have to shout into it so the other person at the other end hears me.
I have a Kyocera. I like the phone but it breaks frequently. It is not too durable. I like the new Verizon picture phone.
Verizon - Samsung flip phone.
I've owned several cel phones over the years, and the first thing I demand is that it has to be a Motorola phone. I love that they build a phone that can handle some abuse. I've even driven over my phone twice (don't ask...), and not even a scratch.
Sanyo 5300 sprint camera phone. Great phone. Kinda big, but its built like a tank.
Siemens S56. Best phone evar. You can only get it if you are on AT&T, Tmobile, or Cingular, but its freaking awesome.
LG 5350, works fine thus far. And my battery doesn't die that often like MrSelfDestruct said.
Motorola T720
Nokia 7250i. Supports XHTML. Nifty little thing and they are getting better with the quality of the digital imaging. Of course where I live you MUST have a Nokia. I think it's government mandated!

excellent phone, motorola is untouchable |
Nokia 6340i going to get a new one soon though
i have an older motorola something or other. got it free with a one year plan or some shit like that =/
have a Nokia 6610
A 4+ year old Nokia 5100 series phone. It used to shut off "randomly" but I found out it was because the battery was loose and was losing contact with the metal contacts on the phone. I taped it up on the top and bottom (you need to cut out a piece for the speaker) and now it works fine.
Nokia 7650.
I'm a sw engineer, so I developed couple of applications for that nice Symbian OS... |
Cingular's Nokia 3560 - was the best "free" one they had available. color screen, polyphonic tones - great features, good reception, fairly small, etc. No camera or anything like that. You need to go to your carrier's store to see what they actually have available for free or for how much extra. Write them down and then go to epinions.com , etc. to get feedback on which ones suck vs. not suck.
I got a Sanyo picture phone (through Sprint). After rebate (and a two year contract) it was only $100. It takes decent pictures, and has a nice form factor. My wife and I both got one and we send pictures back and forth with it. It is really convenient when one of us goes and shopping and needs to get an opinion on how something looks.
I have an N400.
It's a great phone.... And pretty cheap too. Retail they run about $150. |
old school nokia 5160...have had it for almost 4 years now and abused the hell out of it.
i love my Nokia 3650. Being able to record video, take pictures, and playback video on a phone is just nifty. Plus I like its unique look :)
http://www.samsungusa.com/images/pro...00_gal_lg4.jpg
Samsung N400 - one of Sprint's 3G Vision phones. I've had Sprint for a few months and it's been OK. I haven't had any trouble with them, but I've heard about a lot of people who have. Battery life is a down side though - I even got the extended battery and it only lasts a day if you do a lot of web surfing or games (stuff that uses the backlit screen). Still, I'm happy with it, and it's really nice to be able to get on the internet while I'm waiting to get into a restaurant or something. |
I have a Nextel i50.. descent phone, work foots teh bill, so even better. On the largish size nowdays, and until i go the large battery , battery life wasn't great. But the nation wide two feature is great if you have a use for it..

Nokia. It's getting the job done.
Motorola V60i
Here's a picture of my current phone:
https://activate.sprintpcs.com/media...50_L_56c99.gif Sprint has not really been that good to me. Phone service is spotty and Customer Service is non-existent. Can't wait for November so that I can switch service providers while maintaining my cell number. |
Panasonic EB-TX310 on U.S. Cellular. Best phone I've ever had.
Just upgraded from 2 two year old Motorola StarTac to an LG VX4400. I've only had the VX4400 seems for two days so I haven't had time to put it through it's paces yet, but so far I like it.
Clickie
there is a picture of the phone, and in the bottom right of that image, there is a 'view in 3d' click that. I have verizon, have been pretty happy. |
nokia 3650. camera, video, recorder, upgradable software, decent battery time, wap, bluetooth.. it's all i'll need for a long while :D
pic: http://www.globalanarchy.net/upload/uploads/3650.jpg |
Nextel i95 here.. pretty nice grad present=P
thus far I am very happy with it.. good battery life for a full colored phone I think.. around 3 days without a charge. Moto GT rocks.. lol |
Older Samsung flip phone on SPRINT.
GAH, I HATE SPRINT! |
I got the LG VX2000. I got it because it was free, and I didn't have a lot of money at the time.

Wish it had more toys but it does the trick for what I 'need' right now. |
Sony Ericsson T610!
I have myself a Noki 3310
Almost time for an upgrade |
this is my old clunker:
http://www.cellphones.ca/images/phon...s/cdm135xl.jpg an audiovox cdm-135xl. it's certainly due for replacement, but it works and i'm comfortable using it, so we'll see. |
nokia 3300
nokia 3300 the mp3 player handy :)
love it , is great when you have to do some work in some lone place , just get some music and be fine, and i have always my handy with me so i also have always music with me :) currently : LINKIN PARK |
nokia 6210 here
I've got a Sony Ericsson t68i. Bought it for the Bluetooth, which I use only occasionally now. Bluetooth handsfree is cool, though.
I think the phone has been discontinued, and I don't really recommend it due to TERRIBLE RF reception. Tmobile is pretty good, but get the Nokia 3650 :) |
I have a sony ericsson t300, not a bad phone it came free with my plan ($100 rebate). I like it, it has blackjack, what more do you need.
Nokia 3285. One of its special features is to turn off during conversations. I cant wait to get a better one.
Samsung n400 :/
Samsung SGH S108, good phone.
It's my first flip phone and I have to say I definately prefer flip phones just because you don't get pocket calls anymore--for those who like to keep their phone in a pocket. Yes I know hand set phones have key locks but even with key lock on you can get pocket calls. |
Motorola v70
http://www.public.iastate.edu/~abeader/Motorola-v70.jpg I don't need a lot of bell and whistles on my cell phone. Color screens, cameras, mp3 players, and other such luxuries aren't really what I'm looking for in a phone. This phone doesn't have a lot, but it's still unique enough to keep me happy. It's also incredibly small and light. |
I use the T-Mobile Sidekick
http://www.canyongossip.com/artman/u...gsidekick2.jpg I love it more than anything in the world. |
i have not yet entered this century.
i have not a cell phone. |
im not special only my little sister who still lives at home and my dad have a cell phone and its one of those really new nokia ones. . . I live 2 hours away and drive home at night and i dont get one but she does, its so not fair *pout**sniff, sniff*
Don't have one, and won't get one untill some company offers a reasonably priced unlimited usage plan.
the type that stays in my truck. I take full advantage of the 'off' feature. It is only used for emergencies and the occasional phone call.
Sanyo 8100... love taking pics and the phone itself is pretty sweet, but it does run out of batteries fairly fast if you are messing around and using the screen a lot :(
