Donate to Charities Just By Clicking!

kool post, been to some of these sites, can be a worthwhile effort to stop by them every once in awhile, I mean, what do you have to lose?

My click will clear 21 cm2 of mine infested terrain!

It's sad to see all that's going on in the world but it feels good to know you've helped out, no matter how much or how little, it al goes towards the same solution. I've even passed this list on to a few of my friends and an IRC room I go to.

I clicked when I saw it on the fatwallet forums, but this is to keep it up top.

I thought the thread title was "Donate to Charles Just By Clicking!"

from my experiance they get paid such little ammounts that it isnt really worth it, you would be MUCH better off sending them £1 a year... if you clicked on it ten times everyday you wouldnt give them a £1 a year...

The point here is to spread the word about it, so you get your friends to get their friends to get their friends, etc. These things aren't really effective as a single person, kinda like voting. And if you really want to send £1 a year, you can still do that. This is just a little unobtrusive way to send some extra cash their way.

I dunno, I'd prefer to pay my own money to a charity I was really familiar with.

I've seen these type of things before. How exactly do they work? Where does the money come from? Materialise out of thin air?

some of them are like a $1 per click, so thats a lot with so many ppl clicking.
