I drew this up in Photoshop as my assumption of what Captcha images on sites like MySpace will someday be. Can't wait to type in my Kanji. They really are getting out of hand!

You'd think they'd just give up already. The damn things don't work anymore, but nobody seems willing to admit defeat.

I hate that when I run into some of the captcha's out there. When I type it out I think "Let's see, I think that looks like this"

I hate captchas.

LOL... you were right up until the Kanji... then it went wrong. :p

They've become a reverse Turing-test. Computers CAN crack them, but humans CAN'T.

They've always been a reverse Turing-test :)

Just that now it simply ticks people off.

of course.. all those things are variables.. It might be hold shift, highlight "ass" inside the word password, and double click the F in "first" to submit..

I don't know how much it helps prevent spam, all I know is that it's annoying as hell.

Good mockery of the system. I have more problems than it's worth with those stupid things. I hope they're a quickly-passing security fad.

same here. I sometimes find myself entering what i think is the correct captcha 4 or 5 times only so discover the capitol "i" ive been typing in is really a screwed up, wiggly 1.

and sometimes i find that a few letters are only 1/3rd visible, and you cant tell what they are at all. "is that a G or a C?"

these things bum me out. when ever one pops up i sigh before i even read them.

I feel like the only one who loves captcha, ever since it's been put in to effect on myspace, I've stoped receieving spam/fake friend requests.

and trust me, theres a lot more bots/spam on forums that don't use captcha to register than those that do.

Well thats your own fault for going on myspace.

And I hate captchas as well. But I suppose in all honestly they probably do more good than harm.... for now.
