Of course they still have hash. I don't really know the names of the stuff I've smoked. I just knew it by either mids (for mid grade) or dro/dank for the higher grade shit.

Weed brands are often a signpost for potency and also as a trademark for individual grow operations. If you think they are artificial then you demonstrate a marked lack of knowledge regarding not just marijuana cultivation, but any botanical process of artificial selection to maximize potency and yield.

That being said, I don't know any particular names. I don't smoke weed anymore, but when I did it was from a medicinal grower who classified his strains as A, AA and AAA.

About 10 or 15 years ago, my daughter who was 26 or? at the time, asked me to pick up some pot for her because I was going to be in the neighborhood where it was. I was a bit of a nervous wreck, not really knowing what I was doing. When I got to the house, they let me in, and I overheard them saying the pot was skunk. So, I made some excuse and didn't buy because, in my mind, if they were calling it "skunk", it must be bad. I called my daughter when i got home, to tell her I saved her some money, needless to say, she blew a gasket. We laugh about it now, because I am hip to the word skunk in reference to pot.

Wow great argument there, I know people who abuse it therefore it isn't medicine. I used to work closely with individuals who were in closed custody correctional setting (jail.) Many of these folks would attempt to abuse just about anything. Cough syrups such as Nyquil were a favorite. People abuse all kinds of medications- Anit-depression meds, Pain meds, cough meds, sleeping pills. Are these all not medications too?

The US governemnts current position is marijuana does not have any medical propose. That's extremely odd considering they still supply, for medical purposes, a handful of patients with the drug. If it's not a medication while are they still growing and suppling it to these people?

The Fed's postion is also odd when you consider the FDA approved Marinol- http://norml.org/index.cfm?Group_ID=6635 Basically a pill form of one of the main active ingredients of marijuana. It's alomost like the Feds are willing to call it medication if the pharmaceutical company are able to profit from it, but if you can grow it yourself? Well, then it's really bad for you.

And for the record, no I don't use marijuana. But I would if I thought I would benefit from it.
