Recognize this intersection?

I thought this video was incredibly cool.

It made me think of the time I did exactly what the people in the video are doing, back in 1981. If you want to see what that looked like, click here. You can actually see how much the trees have grown in the intervening years.

That would drive me nuts if I had to commute through the area.

I have to admit that I did do the same thing when I was in London.

And what was up with the dude that drops his pants?

Fuglystick, didn't you notice how the drivers just seem to take it all in stride? They seem to expect tourists to come by, take pictures, and block traffic. It's part of what makes the video so charming.
Though the guy who moons the camera is pretty funny, too.

I'd have to do this if I ever went to London. Just because.

Ah, yes, but I'm one of those impatient drivers. More power to them, and I admire their patience; I'd probably be looking for an alternate route, however. My shortcoming, not their's.

So where is this intersection on a map? (I know what street and city, but I don't know where it is exactly...)

Wish I'd done it while I was in London. Oh well. I hope I get the opportunity in the future.

I have been to where John Lennon was assassinated, though. My mother insisted upon it when we visited NYC.

ASU2003, it's right by the EMI studio. I believe the next street over is St John's Wood Road, IIRC.

More power to them?!?!?! Ha!!! I beleive in life imprisonment for all pedestrians (besides myself, of course).

Road rage is bad for me.

Very interesting.
And its nice to know that its still done today, so many years later. :)
