I really thought some of the comments on the bottom of the page were interesting too.

That's just really sad.

It is something out Government should look at, as they seem hell bent and building more nuclear power stations. Sad but also impressed how much nature they seems to be.

It is actually possible to catch a bus tour from Kiev to that city (Pripyat'). If I happen to find myself in Kiev, I will most definatly get on that bus.

The main reason that this was able to happen was because of design flaws of Soviet Nuclear Reactors. US, Canadian and Western European reactors do not have the same flaws and the circumstances that caused this accident cannot be duplicated in a western reactor.

Saw a program on History channel that showed a lot of this and some new and remodeled homes in a more rural area, they were almost over grown by vegetation.

Scary shit! This should be shown to everyone in power and their families!
