I'll admit, they are fun to drive, but I'd NEVER own one. The original H-1, now there is a ballsy ride, too bad they don't fit in a parking space.

I still find it amazing that in the age of information and with the proliferation of technology people are still unable to do a bit of research on their own.

I don't wish to be rude, but perhaps you should check out your local Dodge dealership & ask them if the Dodge Ram is a mid-size or full size. Then ask them if the Heavy Duty 3500 Dually Dodge Ram is a mid-size or full size.

Again with the "little" p/u comment? However the H2's MSRP starts at $54,850. I've never purchased a house, but from my HGTV watching I think that's usually less than your typical house.

Tammy Morse, a 32-year-old delivery driver westbound on DeBarr, was behind the wheel of the first vehicle struck by the Hummer, a white Pet Pantry van. She braked hard and the Hummer opened a hole in her front bumper but bounced away into another vehicle, she said.

"He just plowed through everybody else," said Morse, who was uninjured. "He ignored me, hit the extended-cab (truck) and turned and headed down the sidewalk."

The Hummer spun around after striking the second vehicle and then sped west down the eastbound side of DeBarr, she said.

"I couldn't believe it," Morse said.

It seemed even more shocking to Jenette Jemison, a 21-year-old student driving east in her sister's late-model Mazda sedan.

Heading up the hill outside Alaska Regional Hospital, Jemison found the square-nosed, wide-body Hummer -- the civilian version of the military's Humvee -- coming straight for her.

"He was on the sidewalk, and I'm thinking, 'What the hell!' " Jemison said. " 'He's going to turn away.' But he doesn't. He just keeps coming."

Jemison said traffic was heavy and drivers around her were blowing their horns and trying to get out of the way. She squeezed left but not far enough. The Hummer came off the sidewalk and smashed into the Mazda, spinning it into the left lane, where it was hit by a van.

A few car lengths later, the Hummer smashed head-on into a Dodge Ram pickup. "That ended it," Davis said.
I'd say that after hitting 1 van, 1 1/2 ton P/U, a midsize car, and then a HD Dually P/U and the driver survived with only minor injuries the H2 is fairly tough. I never found out what caused the scene, but the police suspected it was due to a medical condition suffered from the driver of the Hummer.

This picture is older than the internet, but for some strange reason peoples blind hatred of the Hummer H2 gets in the way of the facts. You don't have to like them, just don't go around spreading false information.

I love pick-up trucks, compared to the hummer though, it is little. Homes on the HGTV channel are not your typical home. I purchased a very nice brick ranch for under 75K. I have seen houses in Ohio sell for under 40K, even under 30K. Location, location, location.

Besides, no one would watch HGTV if all they showed were average Joe homes.

Canton must be much cheaper than Westerville & Gahanna. The last house I looked at was a ranch in Gahanna around the corner from where I used to live. They where asking $170 or so IIRC. My parents house is valued around the same and it's not in great shape. All of the houses in Westerville I've ever looked at where equally expensive and generally these are your average 2 story cookie cutter homes.

The Hummer H2 size wise is comparable to your average P/U as it rides on a modified GMT-800 frame. Compared to an extended cab or HD though you'd be right, it is "smaller".

I'm not a big Hummer fan but I can't stand seeing the anti-Hummer brigade tout propaganda based on half-truths and outright lies. Giving somebody the bird because of their choice in vehicles is childish and shows a lack of intelligence. I can't stand Ferrari's, but I don't run around calling all Ferrari owners small dicked pricks and thinking I'm clever.
