I don't know why I find this so interesting. A coworker in MA (where currently there is hardly any "Meth Problem") liked to look at the before and after pictures of Meth. Perhaps I'm like: "at least I don't have this problem". I'm not sure. Over 15 years ago -I tried it. Shit, I even smoked it. Meth is nothing that I would want to do every day... In fact I really don't understand it's appeal at all. Heart beats fast... wow, trippy.

Anyways, here are some people who are in the midst of their own personal nightmares. These are before and after pictures. Oftentimes (especially with injection), open sores will appear on the body.

Wow, Astrocloud that's some scary shit! I watched a documentary on meth and was blown away by some of the stories. The kid's from good homes and backgrounds that got hooked and how fast they got hooked, they showed them before and after and again after clean-up. They couldn't believe themselves what they would do to get it, steal from loved ones, sell expensive gifts or girls trading their bodies to get high.

It really freaked me out having a 17 year old daughter.

Needless to say we had a talk shortly there after!

Still scares me, she's a good kid but all it could take is one f***ed up boyfriend and...

Those fit the pictures, first thing I thought of when I clicked on this...

Brew, hate to say this but it can happen with any drug not just Meth. Trust me I work with once "great" kids and to see what heroin, crack, alcohol (granted it takes longer), and so on do to these kids is amazing and sad.

Granted Meth is more "cosmetic" in the facial because they are "picking bugs out of themselves" but they all lead to the same place.

It always amazes me when the press and cops and people all start going after the drug du jour while the streets load up with a tidal wave of another.

60's acid and weed
70's heroin, pcp, powder coke
80's powder coke, crack, ice (the earlier form of modern day meth)
90's heroin, lsd, weed dipped in opium or mixed with crack (and the users not informed)
00's hydroponic'd weed, meth, heroin/oxycontin

up and coming more oxy/heroin but the scary one is xanax.... blue smoke (lacing weed or crack with xanax), shooting heroin and xanax/klonopin mix...

xanax/klonopin/ativan etc. the benzos are the next big one and when those hit..... those are the ones we have to watch, detox off of them takes MONTHS and to quit cold turkey can kill even the otherwise healthiest of people. And doctors are giving these out like candy to people.

I've seen those pics before and there is something fascinating about them.

Pan.. damn dude. I used to run in the wrong circles.. and have exercised my fair share of stupidity; but I've never heard of shooting xanax and klonopin.

same..............i had a buddy go through the heroin trip.........man he looked brutal.........wasn't nice to see him deteriorate.

but all his buddies took him in to rehab........and he's been clean for almost 10 years now.
