Thanks for that link, I hadn't seen that yet. But being I'm 56yo, I sure remember the originals of those things and still love the idea.

And I'm a sucker so I immediately bookmarked it and will look into further details. I want to build something fun for road course track days I go to, and I'm on a fence about further modifying my Supra for that, which would make it less streetable and comfortable ...vs building something else specifically for the track. Now the Cheetah will be on my list of considerations. I'm also investigating the last gen RX7, the FD but with Hinson LS package using (in my dreams) an LS7 crate motor, along with the Beck Lister which is along the lines of the Cheetah and based on another wild, lightweight V8 creation from back in those days (Cobra, Cheetah, Lister, etc)

I would go with the Last gen RX-7 but thats just me, Rotory redline at 9000RPM
