Hey everyone, I've got a question about the gynecologist. My girlfriend and I are ready to have sex (we're both virgins). We're both 16 years old going on 17, and we've been together now 9 monthes. Sometime this year my girlfriend has to visit the gynecologist for the first time. They obviously will be able to tell what we've been up to. Is this information kept confidential? Obviously we don't want our parents to know. Is there any way her mom would be able to find out from the gynecologist or is all of this strictly confidential between my girl and the doctor?

....but you two are rather young, and are not adults, soo your parents do have the right to know i think...

you could allways wait awhile kids......

you are under the age of 18.... we have ourselves a minor here!

If you're over 13 I think it is with the new HIPPA stuff they can't divulge info to your parents without your consent. I'm not positive on that one though.
