Yeah, that map is horribly unbalanced. Health + armor + rocket launcer + only one way in = badness

Yeah you're right - I just piled a bunch of tables in the entrance and blew up anyone that tried to get up. Easy as pie.

I learned how to counter that

launch explosive barrels from the ground up to the top floor

i got 5 kills with one barrel because those asstards barricaded themselves

after doing that three times people stopped camping up there like little bitches

They tried that a couple of times. Problem is that I could get a rocket down there before they could get the barrel up to my height.

That is where we all have different definitions of fun, personally I find staying in one place like that mind numbingly boring.

Moving around and still being top 4 consitantly says more about a person in my view.

I never camp like that - I just figured I'd try it since the guy in the last round dominated when he did the same thing - I just never figured I wouldn't die until I was 80-0. I'm normally always in the top 4 though - you're right, camping like that is pretty boring.

that game is all about the revolver.
and the way to win in any dm game is to control the map.
you control the health and best weapons = you are going to win.
when i play i just patrol the revolvers and the health and kill anything in my way. /shrug
and i haven't taken any screen shots yet

Good game designers make the weapons balanced.
Good level designers make the map a challenge to control.
Agreed, controlling health and the best weapons is the key to winning. Which is why, to prevent camping, many modders put in variable spawn times.

blah.. I want a server with NO GUNS, only the Grav Gun. I once was in a server with 7 others and we all decided to use ONLY the grav guns. Best DM I've ever played.

Apparently thats generally a function of all the processor cycles it takes on the server while having to do all the physics calculations. Try playing on servers with fewer people
