hi all,

i'm a big reality tv fan. at the moment, i'm tuning in weekly for:

the apprentice
america's next top model
the swan
the bachelor
the biggest loser

previous favorites include:
for love or money 1 and 2
last comic standing

any other reality tv junkies out there? what shows are you following now?

Shhhh, walk softly there, jaded. Got some Reality tv haters hereabouts.

I like a few rtv shows.
Survivor
The Apprentice
Big Brother
The Amazing Race
Last Comic Standing
My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance and maybe the new My Big Fat Obnoxious Boss
I'm looking forward to the Gilligan's Island thing, too.

There are a couple of more shows that I'm not remembering at the moment.

The way I look at these shows is they're a form of stress reducer for me.
They get to do stupid crap on tv for money and their 15 minutes, while I, I get to stupidly yell at the screen while they do it.

reality tv is astounding in its ability to distract us with other people's "lives" while we avoid living our own. i will die one day and yet i find the time to watch blind date.

haha fremen, nah, i\'m not afraid. they can disagree with me, but they can\'t make my voice unheard.

yeah, i tend to develop a loyalty to a station, so i usually stick to nbc but their shows are getting more stupid. never watched survivor as it used to be at the \"friends\" time slot and i\'m a big fan.

stbeston, i totally see what you are saying. blind date is so stupid that i find myself akwardly drawn to it, especially when they have a freak show.

as for the apprentice, i started watching midway the first season and haven\'t missed an episode since. i correctly guessed bill as the winner for the first season, which made my bf mad. we shall see how this season goes as the ego of d.t. skyrockets.
