oh and a name would be cool also, since I couldn't think of a non-cliche title (such as "pride" or so...)

personally I prefer the white background myself, I don't really like how stiff she is looking but that's really up to you. might be a reason for this. heh.

Very nice work! I like the white background better. It allows for a more definitive shape and better contrast. I don't know what the symbol means, no cookie for me. I would suggest a name but if the background image is more relevant than the woman, it probably wouldn't fit.
