I want to write some code that will take select bits of info from template-type webpages which, are all linked to from another webpage, and put it into a database.

Obviously I'm not expecting anyone to type out the source here, but does anyone know of any good source of info on this kind of thing. I'm not even sure what keywords I really need to search for.
