E3 - 2004

Was anyone else supremely bored by the news coming out of E3 this year? Haven't we seen the games everyone is talking about (HL2, Doom 3, Halo 2, etc.) for a few years now? Shouldn't there be a limit on how many times you can show a game at E3? Except for the handheld's (Nintendo and Sony) I was like, "More screen shots from Doom 3? Great? What else you got?" I sincerely hope that next years E3 (after all of the big games come out [God Willing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!]) will much, much better. Maybe I am just kranky from having the carrot of HL2, etc. dangled in front of me for so long? Anyone else?

Hell no, this was the best E3 in the past 5 years if ya ask me. The news that came out of this one was spectacular. Release dates for Doom 3, Halo 2...Nintendo DS info, PSP info, playable Halo 2, any info for just about every game coming out in the next year.

I was just telling my brother how this was the best damned E3 ever! Next year's is gonna be hardpressed. No Fable, Half-Life 2, Halo 2, Doom 3, Jade Empire, KOTOR 2...just FFXII. Ha ha!

The last E3 was the best E3 since I can remember.....at least the best in 3 or 4 years. I don't know which one you you're talking about

I went to the one in 99 when PS2 was demoed. I echo Lasereth. The next good one will be when everybody has their next gen systems coming out...

This year's E3 was something to be marveled at. I've never been so deluged in information about new shit. It was probably the best E3 that's ever been done.

Crazy

I was really surprised with how good this year's E3 was. Tons of titles that I'm looking forward to and two new handhelds that I'll probably end up buying even though I'm telling myself not to.
