My wife and I will be celebrating our very first wedding anniversary in FIVE days. I had completely overlooked this for a while and now it's kind of about time to think of something. I'd like to do or make something special for her, but I cannot spare a single dime on it, so that limits my options. I need some good ideas, please share if you have any.

5 days is too late for this year... but my wife and I decided that we didn't need another gift-giving holiday. We exchange cards, and either take a vacation or purchase something together (usually from a craft show).

Make her a coupon book good for massages, being read to, alone time, cleaning the bathroom, etc -- you know what she likes, doesn't have to cost you anything but a little creativity.

I like the coupon idea. You could also buy a blank book with 365 pages, a page for each day you have been married. Write something that you love about your partner on each page.
