A question about Shockwave Flash. - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

It seems almost every time I visit a site which uses flash I am informed that I don't have the latest version. I spend a fair amount of time playing flash games and watching animations so this really is a pain.

My queston is: Is this because newer versions of flash are incompatible with older versions, or am I doing something wrong?

How common is this?

do you have the latest version ? when its installed it usually asks you if you want it to do automatic updating to the latest.

most times you start it it checks to see if a newer version is available, its usually best to update.

if you do, try a reinstall it might be confused
