Secret of Mana and Final Fantasy III were a few of my all-time favorite games for SNES. I still play both of them every so often. I gotta give out props to DK Country though. That was just amazing at the time it came out. I remember Nintendo Power sending out a promo video about how it was made, etc.
For Genesis I really liked Toejam & Earl. There were a few other games I played on that system, but overall it didn't get nearly as much play as my SNES.

It's such a tie between FF3 and Super Mario World. It depends on what mood I'm in, too.
Right now it's FF3 I'd rather play.... I'm in the mood for an RPG, and FF3(or FF6 if you're japanese) is to me the standard that all future final fantasies have been judged on- story and gameplay wise that is, and none has ever come close to making it.

Chrono Trigger, Breath of Fire, Final Fantasy 3, Super Mario World, and Secret of Mana. That's about all I can think of right now. Super Mario World was the first game I got for the SNES(mainly because it came with it when I bought it) and I loved that game. I guess you could put Final Fantasy 2 on there, but 3 was so much better. If I had to pick one I would go with Chrono Trigger, amazing game.

I'd have to say Chrono Trigger definitely. Donkey Kong Country also gets on the list, even though that was the only game to come out on SNES that was 32-bit. Super Metroid was amazing as well. Many publications still consider it to be the best game of all time. Electronic Gaming Monthly voted it the best game of all time in their 100th issue.
