KISS Alive! IV - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

Just got the new KISS album "Symphony-Alive! IV" recorded with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.

So far I have only listened to it once, but I am very impressed. I was kind of leary if it would work or not.

They did a great job with their selection on "MTV Unplugged", but there were songs that obviously wouldn't work just acoustic, like Detroit Rock City and God of Thunder. (I betcha some of you just figured out where my name came from

)

All of these songs work with an orchestra behind them though. If your a KISS fan, add this to your collection.

PS "Beth" has never sounded better.

WOW!!! Is this out on vinyl or just CD? my brothers birthday is coming up and the 12" would be the perfect present for him.

hmmm i may have to pick that up. I love kiss. they are one of those great instan energy pick me up bands. slap in some rock and roll all night and your ready to go.

Just CD that I'm aware of, but KISS has been known to put out vinyl, just for the colector's like myself. I'm only missing a few albums on vinyl.

I am a big Kiss fan - but don't we have enough Alive albums already? Do we really need another heavy metal symphony?

Call me jaded - but Gene & crew seem to be really milking it these days
