I'm becoming a pretty big fan of the Percy Jackson series (for those of you who are unaware -- essentially Harry Potter with Greek Gods instead of wizards [to dumb it down almost criminally]).

I am enjoying the books, however, I was wondering if anyone had recommendations for modern adult fiction with a similar genre? You know, swords, battles, meddling deities, etc.

I'm a closet lover of other Sci-Fi/Fantasy so please, let me hear 'em!
