Help Finding a Song

My boss' granddaughter is doing a project for her G.A.T.E. class about the environment and treating people and neighbors and the world with respect. They are looking for a good song to set as the background music of her PowerPoint.

Any one have any suggestions? Possibly 70's

70s? Treating people and things with respect?

First choice: "Share the Land" The Guess Who

Second choice: "Peace Train" Cat Stevens

Thanks, a little more info...my boss said the presentation is on not littering and polluting the earth and the effects that it may have. Any ideas?

*Think we found a good source, grinningplanet.com. It seems to have lots of good ones like Big Yellow Taxi by Joni Mitchell.

MM, I was just posting this!! Nice.

Marvin Gaye "Mercy, Mercy Me (the Ecology)":

Oh, mercy mercy me
Oh, things ain't what they used to be
No, no
Where did all the blue sky go?
Poison is the wind that blows
From the north, and south, and east
Oh, mercy mercy me
Oh, things ain't what they used to be
No, no
Oil wasted on the oceans
and upon our seas
Fish full of mercury
Oh, mercy mercy me
Oh, things ain't what they used to be
No, no
Radiation under ground and in the sky
Animals and birds who
live nearby are dying
Oh, mercy mercy me
Oh, things ain't what they used to be
What about this overcrowded land
How much more abuse from
man can she stand?
My sweet Lord
My sweet Lord
My sweet Lord

There's that one Counting Crows song...uhh the song title escapes me. I think it's something like Big Yellow Taxi.

This' is pretty obscure, & probably isn't appropriate for a school project, but the message is a strong one.

Earth Mother, by Grace Slick & Paul Kantner (think Jefferson Airplane).
