He's not a well known director, Gavin Hood, but I'm willing to see just what he does with this franchise. There's lots of cameos.... this looks very interesting.

Wolverine is somewhat a more believable character than the hulk. I don't know why Marvel even went near it again!
Logan has the same sort of down to earth feel as Batman. More... human.

And yes I know Bruce Wayne is just a man and Logan is a mutant.
Don't anyone go pointing that out.

There was a 2009 release date from Fox in 2006, but I don't see anything about it in recent press releases.

I don't like what they did with Sabretooth in this one. Tyler Mane's version is much better--more animal like. I was hoping they'd put more make up on Liev Shrieber to make him look more like the Tyler Mane version.

The rest looks good, though.

Yup. It looked like his face was perfectly fine though. I don't know about the origins of Deadpool but I had hoped they would have Ryan Reynolds looking like the cancer Deadpool with the messed up face. Maybe it will happen during the movie. I also hoped they would do his breaking the fourth wall but I can't see that being done well in this movie.

Doubtful. Those were way on the other end of the continuity from Origins.

Although there is a Young Logan in the cast list, and in the Origin comic we do see a bone clawed Wolvie as a kid so you never know.

I'm also not a fan of Gambit, but I don't hate him either. Hate's a little strong for a comic book character after all

But big Deadpool fan and I was really excited to see him. I'm sure his face will get all messed as the movie goes on (can't remember who mentioned that and I can't be bothered to scroll up but I'm talkin' to YOU!), as this is before the Weapon X program.

I'm sure this movie will be pretty solid. I mean, Wolverine and Deadpool, it can't be horrible..........right? Right?
