What are you watching now ?

This is without a doubt the most accurate show I have ever seen (except maybe the Jodie Foster season of True Detective) that shows what it is like to live in the deep North.

 

For me that alone would make it worth watching.

 

It skips over some of the really dark stuff, suicide, drug abuse, because it is a comedy but it tackles some really tough topics in a very straight forward way.
Like how do you have healthy relationships in a place where you are related to most of the people.

While, yes, it is about ghosts in a high school, it avoids most of the standard tropes.
The main story line is about trauma and how it fucks us up, even to a point where it can keep us stuck in a loop as ghosts.
