Internet - more specifically the dark and deep web

Purely by voyeuristic curiosity, I was thinking of having a look what is there. But when you google it, it talks about all the nasties and CP and the FBI. And that you can easily get hacked and have your computer wiped clean.

Has anyone ventured in the dark zone?
Do you search like on google??
And what insight can you give.



Like I said, I'm too chicken to try.

I believe I stumbled upon a white supremacist message board a dozen years ago, not realizing what it was. (The Daily Stormer, I think it was)

Browsing casually, I couldn't help but notice how everyone there seemed to be a racist piece of shit.

After checking to see where the hell I ended up, I got out of there and never went back. I imagine that's the extent of my experience with the dark web, as it were. (Yeah, not quite the same thing, but along similar lines.)

 

I went to check it out because I'm curious like that.
It reminded me a bit of the early days of the net back in the 90's only with all of the worse people you can imagine.
I've lived most of my life in trailer courts with some pretty shady shit going on but at least I never had to worry about my kids.
