    "Time to die."

This line has been spoken in who knows how many movies; the delivery I'm thinking of is very poignant.

Great movie, and we are in the real world past the movie timeline. Passed that in November. Roy Batty's monologue was well delivered.

Wow. I didn't realize we had reached the "future" already.

Watching the "old" sci-fi movies & TV programs I'm very surprised at how many writers missed the integration of phones, cameras, computers, & telecommunications.

I'm not sure of the names, but yes.

It's a shame that westerns have (pretty much?) died out.

I'm not talking about the old school displace, intern and/or annihilate justification westerns from when I was a kid.

There are not too many, but some good movies do come along occasionally. Open Range a few years ago, Hateful 8. Django unchained. Solo, a Star Wars Story, was totally a space western. Full of doublecrosses and even card games in a saloon for a spaceship instead of a palomino. True grit was an excellent remake, and much more true to the original novel. Matt Damon as a Texas Ranger to 14 year old Hailee Steinfeld, "when I saw you asleep I wasn't sure if I wanted to kiss you or tan your hide". Hailee, "one would be the same as the other".

Okay, names. Tom Selleck played Matthew Quigley (the hero) and Alan Rickman played Elliot Marston (the villain).
