    i moving through what is now the second chapter. finished the copy editing. i have to decide about adding a couple small things, but it may be done. there are some little things to fix in the 3rd chapter. then it's on to the introduction. i am not sure this will ever end.

    Not nearly enough last night. Even with Ambien, I was up until after 2 am. Less than 5 hours just doesn't cut it.

    There comes a point when lack of sleep overwhelms the need for anything else. I'm close to that. I'm hoping that I'll get 8 solid hours at some point over the weekend. Hit the road for three days of travel on Monday. Need to be rested going in to that.

    Going riding tonight with a buddy.

    Decided to make some calls to other buddies I know have bikes. So far I have 9 confirmed and 2-3 possibles for a group ride on the Sat of Labor Day. Heading down along the river on some back roads and up through a cool State Park nearby, grab some dinner, and ride back. :cool:

    My student worker turns to me and says, "Wow, with your glasses and your hair up like that, you kind of look like Sara Palin."

    I let my hair down. I stare at her. Grab a HUGE stack of files on my desk and hand them to her and say, "Next time say I look like Tina Fey."

    She hates filing.....now I'm thinking of more tasks to give her. I'm thinking of printing the 20 copies of this 50 page report I need (Already bitched about it being wasteful). Not going to tell the copier to collate. I'm going to tell the student worker to collate.

    What the hell is it with people from every region I move to giving me a new nickname? My name is literally two syllables, there is nothing complicated about it.

    Bah. Even Americans manage saying the Japanese name "Yoshi" just fine.
