    I just finished this, took me 3 days about 8 hours of reading... weird, I'm reading at a good pace now for a <300 page book. I guess reading 1,000 page tomes got me into a good rhythm.

    Scholastic Reading Timer App I'm going to try to use this and see if I can't track how many hours/minutes I'm reading.

    reading the next one now.

    The War of the End of the World by Mario Vargas Llosa. I joined a book club that a member of my grad cohort organized, and this is our first book. I'm leading the discussion tonight. So far I like the book. I think the discussion is going to center on characterization and the timeline, as it isn't linear.

    the spy novel by ibn e safi are totally awesome I did not see any writer who written unique spy topics.

    it does go somewhere. My favorite is the fourth book, wizard and glass. Like all stephen king books, the ending is a letdown, but you still have to get there.

    Neal Stephenson is one of my favorite authors. After you read that you will need to read The System of the World Trilogy by him. They are stand alone, but intertwined. But I've read Cryptonomicon several times over the years.
