    This cough is getting really painful and annoying. S mentioned getting a hotel room at around 12:30am... Might I mention that he then fell asleep and snoring within 30 minutes, leaving me to try to stifle my lung seizures for another two hours, until the second dose of tylenol nighttime severe cold kicked in, allowing me 2 whole hours of sleep.
    I hope it clears up by Friday... The APA convention will be interesting with my froggy voice and amazing honking cough.

    the aussies have been quite good at the walk for a good 10-15 years.

    walking is as much a a sport as is equestrian dressage, or ping pong.. but seriously? bring back the tug of war any day!

    Walking is as much a sport as steeplechase or triple jump. Yes, they look a little funny, but there are very strict rules, and it's a lot harder than it looks. And I know a few people that do it, including one that went to the Trials in 2004.

    noodle, there must be some kind of virulent summer cold that is making the rounds. I came down with one over two weeks ago. Kicked my ass for a week before it started to get better but I am still not over it. It just hangs on and on and on. I'm going to be a big hit on the flight this afternoon.

    At this point if eating noodle soup with chopsticks would help, I would.

    Official dx is bronchitis... The cold slammed my chest. Four freaking prescriptions.
    And one big argument about oral steroids... NO prednisone, thank you very much :mad: :mad:

    One of my relatives has it now too.

    If it's bacterial, it depends on the strain. One of the strains is certainly more common in the winter, but others are associated with other risk factors such as alcoholism, smoking, and exposure to animals.

    Then there is viral pneumonia.

    Generally, if you have a weakened immune system, you're exposed to all kinds of possibilities. Remember that pneumonia is basically an inflammatory lung infection. There are several causes.
